Diane is our brave boss babe. She graduated from the VIU Hairdressing Program in 2014, joined the Banged team in 2019, and proudly took over as owner in 2023. Diane is passionate about education and is always pushing herself to grow and become the best stylist she can be—for both her clients and her team.

She spent half her career educating for L’Oréal Professionnel, and recently stepped away from external education to focus on mentoring and developing new stylists within Banged. Diane absolutely adores cutting bobs, dimensional colors, blondes, and funky tones.

Diane’s books are currently closed to new clients, but she’s always happy to recommend one of her talented teammates. She truly loves connecting with clients behind the chair—it brings her so much joy and fulfillment. When she’s not in the salon, you’ll find her soaking up quality time with her friends, family, and partner. Diane is all about the outdoors—hiking, camping, kayaking—or curling up with her cat and a good book.

Larkin graduated from the VIU Hairdressing Program in 2020 and joined the Banged team in 2022. Since then, she’s been absolutely thriving—and recently, she was promoted to salon manager thanks to her incredible dedication, leadership, and talent.

Larkin is more on her game now than ever. She’s our lead stylist in hair extensions and just completed her ManeWare Hair Extension Certification, making her your go-to girl for achieving dreamy, luscious length. She is certified in Hand-tied, Genius, Volume and Mane tips. Obsessed with all things blonde, she specializes in bright, beautiful tones and dimensional color that turns heads.

Outside the salon, Larkin is a proud animal lover. She shares her heart (and home) with her bunny, Bugs. When she’s not behind the chair, you’ll likely find her living her best life at a country music festival or brunching with a mimosa in hand.
